GoodBye.

I found these in one of my books. I find it very meaningful and I like it. :)
Forgive Others
Forgiveness is the oil of relationships.
My Best Feature
I asked my friend this afternoon,
As I gazed into my reflection,
What she thought of what I saw.
She said, "Images are usually misconceptions."

I started to put down my appearance,
Wishing I was thinner and taller.
She looked at me with understanding eyes,
Saying, "Superficial wishes only make you smaller."

I knew she was right, but who was she to talk,
For she was every guy's dream.
I tried to point this out to her,
She replied, "Appearances aren't always what they seem."

"Tell me five features you admire in yourself," she said,
And I knew my troubles had just begun,
For I could see the hurt in her expression,
When I couldn't think of one.

I could not think of a single feature I liked,
And my stomach slowly started to sink.
So I turned to my friend and simply said,
"Well, what do you think?"

"I think you're looking at it all wrong," she said,
"And I wish I could make it clearer.
It's what's inside that makes you beautiful,
And not what can be seen in the mirror."

She said,"You're the most loving person I know,
And I hate to watch you fall apart.
If you want to know what makes you beautiful,
Your best feature is your heart."

Go Beyond Your Comfort Zone
And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.

Give Yourself a Break

I am always doing the best I can; if I could do better, I would. And when I can, I surely will.

Don't Worry About What Others Think
Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.

Realize You Are Responsible for Your Own Happiness

Nothing good ever comes from blaming others. You can only change yourself.

This Is Who I Am

As I lay awake at night,
I think about the day that just went by,
Wondering if I could have changed anything to make it better.

I think about my future,
What can I do to reach my dreams,
How to achieve them,
If I have what it takes,
And if I'm on the right path in life.

I think about my past,
All the people I've met,
Who I've liked and disliked,
My family and friends,
How I grew up,
And what I've accomplished.

I think about what's really important to me,
My morals and values.

I think of how the world works,
And how I would change it if I could.

I think of what I've been through,
And how I feel.

At the end of the day,
I think about who I am.

Lots of love, Nina.
